Responsibilities
Technician- Emergency Department
Stock blanket warmers and patient treatment rooms with appropriate linens
Fill oxygen tanks
Maintain IV pumps
Return patient trays to Nutrition Services
Check and log refrigerator temperatures
Complete patient assessments by collecting data to include but not limited to: weight, temperature, pain, blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation
Prepare patients for procedures and provide assistance to the nurse/physician during procedures
Document actions/observations on ED chart

Qualifications/Experience
• Must have high school diploma or GED. Requires certification in Basic Life Support.
• Medical experience preferred. Knowledge and experience of taking vital
