Under the supervision of the Security Manager, the position entails protection of people and property while providing emergency medical care and security services

Patrols Royal Oaks property, on foot and in vehicle

Responds to security situations and alarm calls; assesses and resolves problems
Prevents unauthorized access to restricted areas, escorts personnel from building after normal business hours
Notifies company personnel regarding emergency situations
Enforces correction of infractions through verbal and written warnings
Notifies law enforcement services if assistance is needed
Prepares clear, concise, and accurate reports that include daily logs and reports of incidents that occur
Maintains comprehensive record keeping of all incidents and investigations
Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements; identify products, tools, and materials to prevent unauthorized removal
Perform after-hours non-emergency transportation and light maintenance
Contacts scheduled on-call Maintenance person for emergency plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
Is committed to keeping confidential and sensitive information
Is responsible for issuance and maintenance of all communication radios, keys, and golf carts
Is responsible for monitoring security systems including closed circuit television, intrusion, fire, and duress alarms
Required to operate/drive a golf cart for the purpose of transporting supplies around campus as needed
