Administrative Assistant
Job Description
2-3 days per week
School hours +.30 to 2.30
Located in Southern Highlands Bowral
Casual with the possibility of moving permanent part time in the future
In this role you will facilitate the streamlining and effective management of the organisation’s administrative requirements, as well as providing comprehensive administrative support to the Service Manager ensuring the smooth operation of Highlands Community Centres daily activities.
Specific responsibilities include:
General office duties – Answering phones and enquiries.
Coordination of office operations across the organisation (2 sites)
Account Processing (Xero)
Assisting the Service Manager with the preparation of board papers and general executive assistance
Assist the Service Manager in coordinating human resources functions
Minute taking
Email distribution
Maintaining Data systems
Skills Required
You have general office management experience ideally developed within a community, or non-profit organisation and the capability to undertake a broad range of duties. You’re able to work with a high level of self-direction and bring a good understanding of the processes, policies and procedures required for supporting a non-profit organisation, including, workplace safety and funder reporting
Additional skills demonstrated:
Excellent organisation skills and adaptability to manage competing priorities
A track record building and maintaining collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate/Advanced skills in Office 365 and SharePoint and working knowledge of Xero
