We have an exciting opportunity for an early in career policy professional to join our Media & Screen Policy team. This is a permanent position, reporting to the Manager Policy, Media & Screen.

Korero mo te turanga | About the role
In this role you will draw on your knowledge and experience of public policy processes to advise Ministers on a range of policy issues impacting on the media and screen sectors.

Our work spans the range of policy levers, including regulatory, funding and system-level policy, and interesting issues that require balancing of economic, cultural, and social outcomes. This includes advising on matters such as investment in local content that New Zealanders access on our screens, radios and other devices, growing our creative and cultural exports, and stewardship of broadcasting legislation and public media outcomes.

This role offers plenty of room and support for development and growth, including opportunities to work collaboratively with other agencies and a wide range of stakeholders.
