THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity available for a Mail & Courier Services Associate at our client site in Sydney CBD. This role requires the ability to provide an efficient service delivery based in a customer site, while ensuring efficiency, cost consciousness and excellent customer service.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the daily management of mail and courier services within a banking environment. You will ensure secure, efficient and compliant handling of sensitive financial documentation, contribute to operational excellence, whilst upholding the highest standards of customer service.

We are looking for a quick learner with exceptional customer service skills & communication skills.

Please note – this is a 100% onsite, 5 days/ week role, based in Sydney CBD.

Key Responsibilities

Sort and deliver daily mail and help with courier operations including inbound and outbound collection and delivery
Follow established processes and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including banking professionals and administrative teams.
Complete customer tasks in line with organisational and client quality standards, including processing requests related to account documentation, loan paperwork and financial correspondence.
Process customer requests within set timeframes and in accordance with banking requirements, maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance.
Maintain accurate records and ensure information is reported using appropriate systems.
Support and participate in cross-training with team members.
Skills & Qualifications

Excellent communication & customer service skills with a professional approach suited to a banking environment.
Previous experience in a mailroom or administrative role within a financial institution highly regarded.
Strong computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic and regulated environment
Knowledge of Mail & Courier systems particularly in handling sensitive and confidential financial documents.
General understanding of mail processes including incoming/outgoing mail, couriers and registered parcels with preference given to experience within banking industry
