The Role

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Production team in a newly created role as Production Support Operator. This is a full-time role, where you will be responsible for providing hands-on support to the production team to ensure coordination between departments and assisting with various activities i.e. learning how to mix nursery raw material. This is a crucial role for maintaining the smooth operation of production processes and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

We are seeking a candidate with the following:
Essential:
Forklift licence required
Strong attention to detail is a must
Strong reading and writing skills
Willing to learn product mixing
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
Reliable and punctual with a commitment to safety
Desirable:
Warehousing experience
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Support Production Operators
Preparing fertiliser mixes
Testing samples of mixes
Keeping warehouse tidy and organised
Monthly stock takes
Learning from Nursery Pad and Bag Pad Operators
Ability to operate loaders and screeners - onsite training will be provided
Standard Hours: 38 hours per week Monday - Friday and overtime where applicable.
