We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join Doma’s latest Restaurant venture at our stunning Shaw Estate.

About the Role
Doma Hotels has a strong focus on making a big impact on our guest experience. Our latest Restaurant will showcase local quality produce and 5-star customer service.
We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team and who will have the opportunity to work in a first-class dining venue and be trained by some of the very best Chefs.
To be successful you must possess the following attributes:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar role within a high-quality restaurant.
Assisting the Head Chef in planning menus and ordering food supplies
Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
Lead, train, and mentor junior staff
Deliver consistency in product quality and presentation
Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
The sous chef must be able to manage their own section, and assist other sections
What you will bring:
A willingness to learn and a keen interest in food
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Available to work both weekdays and weekends
Ability to work effectively and calmly in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrating appropriate level cooking techniques and procedures
