Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse to join our team in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Emergency Department/Minor Injury Unit. The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency department operations and leadership experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior team member to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.

The role involves working a rotational shift pattern, including day shifts, night shifts, and weekends. Applicants should have good knowledge of emergency department operations and experience at senior band 5 or exposure at band 6.

Commitment to patient-centred care, adherence to unscheduled care performance, and meeting quality standards and KPIs are essential. Holding a HEI-accredited minor injuries qualification is preferred but not essential.
Requirements:

Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Leadership experience in emergency department settings
• Strong interpersonal, communication, prioritisation, leadership, and organisational skills
• Good knowledge of emergency department operations
• Experience at senior band 5 or exposure at band 6
