Role: Python developer

Duration: Contract (Hybrid)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong technical expertise and a proven track record of working within the Oil & Gas domain (upstream, midstream, and downstream). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of midstream processes and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications to support business and technical needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with project requirements.
Mentor and guide a small development team (3 4 members), providing technical direction and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead technical design discussions, make architecture decisions, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while optimizing performance.
Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
Work within Agile methodologies, actively participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in Python development with strong proficiency in frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Solid understanding of the Oil & Gas domain, particularly midstream processes.
Experience with relational databases and strong SQL skills.
Proficiency with version control tools (e.g., Git).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor small teams.
