Roofer/Shingler

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Shingler to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing with the ability to work safely and effectively on all slopes. .

This role involves installing shingles on new construction roofs ensuring proper alignment if hired you will work both independently and as part of a team demonstrating a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Install shingles on new construction roofs according to the builders specifications
Ensure proper alignment and sealing of shingles to prevent leaks and damage.
Perform heavy lifting as required, including carrying materials up ladders and onto roofs.
Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing shingles.
Perform work in adherence to safety standards and quality guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Experience

Proven experience in roofing is required with at least 1 full year as an installer.
Roofing helpers with 1 full year prepping experience may also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
