Waitress/Waiter (Gastown)

Job description
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in creating and providing an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately take food and drink orders from customers with a positive attitude
• Operate the POS system efficiently
• Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner
• Demonstrate a deep knowledge and understanding of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions
• Exhibit strong knowledge of wine serving and bar operations
• Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and promptly address any issues
• Prepare checks accurately and collect payments from tables

Requirements:
• Experience providing excellent customer service
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with customers and other staff
• Ability to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
• Capability to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system

Nice-to-Have:
• Knowledge of Ukrainian culture, and cuisine, or a willingness to learn

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
