ABOUT US
Bali Nights brings the vibrant flavours of Balinese street food to Auckland, serving authentic Indonesian dishes in a fun, modern, and lively atmosphere. We’re passionate about introducing Indonesian cuisine and culture to New Zealand and are looking for a skilled chef who shares that passion to join our growing team.
THE ROLE
We’re seeking an experienced Chef who can prepare and present a wide range of authentic Indonesian and Balinese dishes to a high standard. You’ll work as part of a close-knit kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality food, contribute to menu development, and help maintain smooth kitchen operations in a busy environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, cook, and present Indonesian and Balinese dishes to restaurant standards
Manage food preparation and cooking during service times
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
Assist in menu planning, portion control, and stock management
Train and support junior kitchen staff
Collaborate with the team on seasonal menu updates and dish innovation
