Delivery Driver

Key Responsibilities:

Driving and Delivery: Safely operate a 1-ton cargo van and up to a 2-ton cube truck to deliver products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Loading and Unloading: Efficiently and safely load and unload products, adhering to best practices for securing items and following all loading/unloading procedures.
Equipment Operation: Utilize warehouse equipment including manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts. Operate power tailgates safely and in accordance with procedures.
Warehouse Software: Use warehouse software for tracking deliveries, managing inventory, and documenting delivery details.
Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with clients and addressing any delivery-related concerns or issues.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience as a delivery driver with a clean driving record. Experience with 1-ton cargo vans and 2-ton cube trucks is required.
Certifications: Valid driver’s license with the appropriate class. Certificates in the operation of manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and power tailgate loading procedures are required.
Skills: Proficiency in using warehouse software and strong knowledge of loading/unloading procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Customer Service: Friendly and professional demeanor with strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting, carrying, and working in various weather conditions.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
