DR Application Manager

Job Description:

Efficiently manage DR Operations & Support team to ensure IT DR deliverables are met for the assigned set of applications.

Strong Technical and troubleshooting skills to provide L3/L4 support in OS, Middleware, Database, and Infrastructure such as Load balancer, Network, HIPS etc.
Should have technical mandatory skills in any of 3 areas mentioned in below section

Good scripting and automation knowledge /skills, and aptitude to completely automate DR drills will given a preference.
Identify the right product & implement to avoid major drill incidents due to configuration mismatch.
Ensure increase in productivity of DR Team by reducing drill downtime.
Do market scouting to bring best tool for DR/BCP Domain to have 100% automation for all apps.
Work on 24 x 7 shift including week ends & Holidays in rotational shift with other staffs.

Ensure proper status tracking of Automation and Improvement projects undertaken by the DR team based on its applicability to the list of the applications in the assigned portfolio.
Strong Technical skills & hands-on experience in any 3 areas listed below:
OS
• Windows, Unix, Scripting for any OS.
Middle Ware -SOA, Web

Logic, IBM Websphere MQ, IISAutomation & Scripting:
Python, Ansible, Power shell / Python/ Shell etc

Database:
MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Mongo DB and other open-source databases Working / Infrastructure knowledge on - Storage, VM Ware, Bare metal, Load balancer, HIPS, Fire wall, Network, RISC, Intel
