Position Overview
Job Title: Credit Analyst
Location: Mumbai, India
Role Description
• GFCT Pacific Financing Desk is involved in building a portfolio of performing loans as part of the larger plan to build a strong balance sheet with exposure across industry. The Financing deal team aims to play a bigger role of a cornerstone financier and underwrite by taking substantially large debt stake with an intention to de-risk via syndication or insurance. The key business verticals include across Credit opportunities, CRE, Special Situations and Securitization business.
• The role on offer primarily entails credit analysis on a new transaction and managing all activities through the life cycle of a trade once executed. It also includes liaising with various internal stakeholders to ensure correct execution / funding.

Your Key Responsibilities
• As a deal team member, you would be working closely with the onshore team on new opportunities and will perform following activities –
• Financial, Commercial and Legal due diligence
• Returns analysis to determine profitability and pricing of the underlying transaction
• Working on credit memo, internal briefing documents, and syndication memorandums
• Financial modelling to project underlying cash flows and covenant performance under different scenarios
• Portfolio Review: Monitoring the existing portfolio and covenants based on periodic reporting
• Deal Execution: Responsible for working with Treasury, Middle office, Finance and other stakeholders to understand all the booking requirements and ensure smooth execution.
• Deal Maintenance: Efficient management of all post-trade activities like –
• Management of internal DB systems
• Preparation of MIS like Business snapshots, trade pipeline and covenant monitoring dashboard
• Risk and PnL: Oversight on the daily P&L reporting
• Other adhoc tasks as required

• Superior analytical aptitude, problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills
• Team player with strong work ethics
• Strong excel and writing skills
• Experience of credit analysis is a plus
