About Us:
Urban Nomad is an independent hostel brand with two vibrant locations in Sydney’s backpacker hub — Kings Cross and Potts Point. We’re a home for travellers, creatives, and curious wanderers who love connection, culture, and late-night convos in the common room.

We’re not your average hostel. Think: social vibes, local art, community events, and a space that feels like a second home.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and switched-on receptionist to join our small team. You'll be working across both locations and be the welcoming face for guests from all over the world.

Hours:
15–25 hours per week to start, with potential for full-time hours depending on availability and demand.
We’re flexible — open to casual or part-time arrangements.

What You'll Be Doing:
– Checking guests in and out
– Answering guest questions and offering local tips
– Handling bookings, emails, and basic admin
– Light housekeeping and hostel upkeep when needed
– Supporting the vibe — music, energy, and good chats

What We’re Looking For:
– Great communicator with a warm, helpful attitude
– Previous hospitality or reception experience is a bonus (but not a dealbreaker)
– Comfortable with computers / booking systems
– A people person — social, calm under pressure, and takes initiative
– Must have the right to work in Australia
