Location: Vihaara Films, Film Nagar, Hyderabad

Timings: Monday to Friday | 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Assistant Furniture Designer to manage both design development and production execution. This role requires strong technical knowledge of furniture design, materials, and manufacturing processes, along with the ability to supervise production activities and ensure quality, timelines, and cost efficiency.

Furniture Design Responsibilities

* Assist in designing furniture concepts as per company requirements

* Coordinate with the production team to ensure design feasibility and accuracy

* Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, hardware, and construction methods

* Review design modifications based on production feedback and cost considerations

Furniture Production Supervision Responsibilities

* Supervise day-to-day furniture production activities

* Ensure production is executed as per approved designs, drawings, and specifications

* Monitor quality control standards at all stages of production

* Coordinate with carpenters, polishers, and vendors to meet delivery timelines

* Manage material usage, reduce wastage, and control production costs

* Identify production issues and implement corrective actions

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Degree or diploma in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related field

* Proven experience in furniture design and manufacturing/production supervision

* Strong knowledge of furniture materials, joinery, finishes, and hardware

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production documents

* Experience with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools preferred)

* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams
