Full Stack Developer

Work from home, UK client, Full-time Full Stack Developer (FAST API & React) position

This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well respected UK Client who has hired us to exclusively recruit for them.

It is a permanent Work From Home position and everyday you’ll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop.

Location : Permanent Remote Work from Home in India

Experience : 4+ years

Shift Timings : 12pm - + : 30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10 : 30pm (Winter)

Roles and responsibilities
• Develop and Maintain : Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using FastAPI (backend) and React (frontend).
• Collaborate : Work closely with the UK-based team to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Lead Projects : Take ownership of projects, leading the design and implementation of new features and improvements.
• Code Reviews : Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Optimise Performance : Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for code, APIs, and technical processes.
• Mentorship : Mentor and guide junior developers in the team, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Stay Updated : Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to bring innovative solutions to the team.

Required skills and experience

Essential Skills :
• Full Stack Development - 4 + years
• React - 4 + years
• Proven experience in developing interactive and dynamic frontends using React.
• FastPI - 2 + years
• Strong experience in building robust and scalable backends using FastAPI.
• RESTful APIs
• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Database Management -
• Proficiency in working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
• Version Control
• Strong experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Desired Experience and Skills :
• DevOps Skills : Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Testing : Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• UI / UX Design : Understanding of basic UI / UX principles.
