Hotel Operations Manager
Job Description
Our client, a renowned luxury hotel group, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their prestigious property in Kolkata, West Bengal . This is a crucial leadership role responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
The Hotel Operations Manager will be responsible for managing multiple hotel departments, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Events, to deliver seamless and high-quality services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hotel management principles, a passion for hospitality, and a proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards and service excellence. Managing departmental budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue opportunities. Developing and implementing operational strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty. Leading, training, and motivating hotel staff to achieve high performance standards. Ensuring effective communication and collaboration between all hotel departments. Implementing and monitoring quality assurance programs across all operational areas. Managing inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships for operational supplies and services. Handling guest feedback and resolving operational issues promptly and effectively. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Assisting in the development and implementation of hotel policies and procedures. Contributing to the overall strategic direction and success of the hotel.
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in hotel operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, is required. Proven experience managing multiple departments and P&L responsibility is essential. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are critical. Knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS) and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service are mandatory. This role requires a dedicated professional who can maintain a high level of visibility and engagement on-site at our Kolkata, West Bengal property.
