Manager Electrical & Controls(Ahmedabad)

Position: MANAGER (Electrical & Controls )

Total Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience

Education: B.E. Electrical

Location: Ahmedabad

Your duties and job responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following :
• To read and understand the allocated project or work.
• Prepare the drawing list, design plan, scope list and discuss with Engineering manager the plan
• Planning of the work
• To allocate work to the designated person to guide them on day-to-day basis
• Detailed checking of the design drawings produced by the draftsmen to ensure that these are meeting the expectations of contracts and is error free.
• Implementation of corrective and preventive actions & Lessons Learnt.
• Communication with the customers and AIC
• Communication with other departments
• To maintain conceptual and practices consistencies in the output.
• SAP uploads of the BOM items
• To follow the ISO requirements and procedures.
• To give inputs for analyzing the feedbacks /DNs (Defect notifications) and make a list of corrective and preventive actions.
• Attend the customer / vendor interface meetings
• NCR resolutions
• To ensure department’s continuous improvements
• Checking & conducting the training requirements, SAP related activities and new developmental activities as required by LE & LD.
• Checking & approval of specifications/ datasheets prepared by LE.
• Electrical wiring drawings to be As- Built after wiring completion at site.
• Supervision of departmental work of the allocated LD
• Recommendation on performance of individuals
• Checking & approval of the documents produced by department
• Attending the cross functional meeting
• Site support
• Support to proposal engineers during pre bid stage.
