Office Assistant/Receptionist
Job Description
Job Summary
The Office Assistant is responsible for ensuring the office is opened on time, maintained in proper working condition, and ready for daily operations. The role includes supervising housekeeping, managing pantry services, checking facilities, and coordinating repairs or issues with the administration team.
Working Hours
• Monday to Saturday: 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM
• Once a month (Sunday – if required):
• Housekeeping deep cleaning
• Fumigation
• Repair work
• Salary will be paid for extra time on Sunday
• On certain days, you may be required to open the office earlier in case of repair work or emergencies. No overtime will be paid for early opening in such situations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Office Opening & Readiness
• Open the office every morning on time.
• Switch ON all air conditioners (ACs) daily.
• Check that all ACs are functioning properly.
• Immediately inform the office admin of any malfunction or issue.
2. Pantry & Client Support
• Prepare tea and coffee for clients.
• Serve drinking water to clients and visitors.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the pantry area.
• Monitor pantry supplies (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cups, tissues).
• Inform the office admin when supplies are running low.
3. Housekeeping Supervision
• Ensure housekeeping staff perform their duties properly.
• Instruct housekeeping staff to redo cleaning if standards are not met.
• Inform the admin if housekeeping staff are absent or not performing properly.
4. Washroom Checks (Daily)
• Inspect all washrooms daily to ensure:
• Flush systems are working
• Taps are functioning properly
• Water supply is available
• Tissues and soap are stocked
• Report any malfunction immediately.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to refill tissues and soap as needed.
5. Office Support & Errands
• Run office errands as instructed (multiple trips may be required daily).
• Assist during deliveries and repair work.
• Be present when technicians visit for repairs or maintenance.
Important Guidelines
• The primary responsibility is to check, inform, and coordinate with the office and pantry teams.
• Any issue or problem must be reported immediately — not delayed.
• Maintain punctuality, alertness, and readiness throughout working hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹22,000.00 per month
