11 billion asset manager has commenced a search to retain experienced Private Equity Fund Accountant for its growing team in Mumbai
India
Candidates will be based in our Powai office and will work with the US team and Private Equity Controller
Major Responsibilities Maintain the books and records of the private equity funds in accordance with U
S
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
GAAP
Perform Cash and Position reconciliation and booking daily activities
trade and cash activities
interest debit and paydown activities
Review
approve and prepare
Investor capital call
distribution notices and capital statements
The calculation of investor commitments and remaining commitments Distribution and ensure waterfall models in accordance with Limited Partnership Agreement
LPA
Fund and investor level internal rate of return
IRR

Funds audited and unaudited financial statements and other investor reporting
Work closely with and manage the day to day interactions with the auditor
tax preparer and administrator Oversee compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
Required Experience Minimum 2 years accounting experience
administrator side is OK
PE accounting experience preferred or accountant at large corporates
Has strong knowledge of accounting CA would be preferred
Experience with bank loans
term loans and revolvers
and bonds is a major plus
Knowledge of Investran
Geneva and Wall Street Office
WSO
is a plus
Effective communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization
Must have strong excel skills
Superior attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time to meet deadlines
Must be sharp and be able to problem solve quickly
