The Role Responsibilities
This role holder is an individual contributor that provides the relevant support to Integration Tribes, Enterprise Technology T&I for Standard Chartered Bank. The Product Owner (PO) is an empowered decision maker, responsible for maximising the business value of the product and the work of the Development Team A key role in the Agile Scrum framework, the PO owns and manages the product backlog and is ultimately accountable for the successful delivery of the product.
The primary goal in a Product Owner role is to represent the customer to the development team. A key activity is to manage and make visible the product backlog, or the prioritized list of requirements for future product development.
Product Owner is the only person who can change the order of items in the product backlog. One unusual aspect of Product Owner responsibilities is that he must always be available to the development team to answer any questions team members have regarding the customer s view of how they re implementing a product feature.
