Key Duties and Responsibilities
Core Purpose Of The Role
The Machine Engineer / Operator will be responsible for the seamless operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production machinery. You will ensure that production targets are met with minimal downtime while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
• Key Responsibilities
• Operations & Monitoring: Set up, calibrate, and operate industrial machinery according to technical specifications and production schedules.
• Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventive maintenance and rapid emergency repairs to ensure maximum factory uptime.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues promptly to prevent production bottlenecks.
• Quality Control: Monitor output to ensure products meet company quality standards and adjust machine settings as necessary.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of machine performance, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
• Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols at all times.

Candidate Requirements
• Nationality: Indian National (Required for visa/company preference).
• Experience: Proven track record as a Machine Engineer or Operator within a manufacturing environment (experience in plastics or similar industries is a plus).
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, industrial automation, and preventive maintenance.
• Flexibility: Absolute willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays to support 24/7 operations.
• Attitude: A "hands-on" approach with a proactive mindset; able to work independently under the guidance of Executive Management.

Qualifications And Experience (Desired Profile)
• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Production.
• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience as a Machine Engineer or Senior Operator o:f similar product in a manufacturing plant.
• Prior experience working in an international or cross-cultural environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Technical Proficiency Deep expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy industrial machinery.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical failures and perform "on-the-fly" repairs to minimize downtime.
• Candidate has to have the ability to manage high-volume production lines under strict deadlines.
• Language & Communication: the candidate must be able to express himself in english as he will interact and communicate technical instructions clearly to the local floor staff.
• Extreme Flexibility: Must be mentally and physically prepared for a rotating shift schedule, including frequent night shifts, weekends & holidays
• Problem-Solving: A "fix-it" mentality—someone who looks for solutions rather than just reporting problems.
• Leadership: Ability to supervise junior operators and instill a culture of discipline and safety on the factory floor.
• Resilience: Capable of working in a hot, fast-paced factory environment for extended periods.
