Full job description
LWC Recruitment Ltd. is currently looking for 10 Carpenters who will be responsible for the delivery of either residential or commercial carpentry services to LWC Recruitment clients.

You will be based in Auckland but may also require working in Queenstown and Waikato. This may require the need to travel away from home or relocate.

This is a full-time permanent position. Wages are between $33.56-$35 per hour and you will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week.

To be considered for this role, you should have the following:

Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or similar experience associated with a trade or construction role
Able to read and interpret plans
Can work unsupervised or part of a team
Can use a variety of hand tools and power tools
Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening
Calm, professional temperament with the ability to cope in a pressured environment.
General duties:

Read and interpret drawings (plans and blueprints)
Perform all aspect of construction
Follow specific instructions from site management
• Construct wall and roof framing, floor joist, foundations, and bearers • Install wall cladding

Construct concrete formwork
