About the Role
We’re looking for a high-performing Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Auckland team. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to build their own desk, develop client relationships from scratch, and consistently make high-quality placements.
This is not a role for an account manager or someone new to the industry — we want someone who can hit the ground running, win business, and close deals. You'll be focused on mid to senior-level permanent placements and grow your desk with the full support of your manager.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build and grow your own portfolio of clients through proactive business development
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from briefing to placement
Source, screen, and engage mid to senior-level candidates in your chosen market
Negotiate terms of business and placement fees confidently and professionally
Deliver consistently strong billing results in line with performance targets
Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
What We're Looking For
A proven track record of consistent billing in an agency recruitment environment
Strong business development and client acquisition skills
Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes (permanent placements preferred)
Confidence working with mid to senior-level roles and stakeholders
A self-starter with a commercial mindset and strong sense of accountability
