SMS - Student Management System Administrator role
Hybrid - permanent role in a supportive collaborative team

The remuneration range for the successful candidate is between $70,000.00 to $75,000.00.

This opportunity is part of the team that supports and develops Manukau Institute of Technology and Unitec's Student Management System (SMS). The SMS Team are generally involved with most new systems established at Manukau Institute of Technology and Unitec, as the SMS is the principle data software for student, curriculum, timetabling, enrolment, awards and attendance. It is also the repository for the data that drives the Institute and ensures that Manukau Institute of Technology and Unitec meets its statutory reporting requirements to the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC). The SMS is integrated with other existing Manukau Institute of Technology and Unitec systems, when these systems make enhancements the SMS Team are involved in design decisions.

Mōu te take- E uiga ia te oe- About you:
This role will suit someone who enjoys providing daily operational SMS application support with sound SQL writing skills to investigate user reported issues, create or modify specific RDL and can also communicate clearly to those with less technical know-how. Experienced in IT systems and Tertiary Qualification in IT Systems Administration or similar is preferred.
You will enjoy:
Being engaged in systems administration and the management of interfaces between the SMS and other systems (e.g., Protégé, Wallflower, Tech One, Salesforce CRM, Canvas LMS),
Contribute to meeting Manukau Institute of Technology and Unitec's statutory reporting to the TEC, and
Assisting the team testing and deploying version releases and service packs across four software environments,
Being part of a variety of new projects annually, each for the benefit of Manukau Institute of Technology and Unitec's akonga (students) and system users.
