Belt Picker – Broadmeadows Yard (Full-Time)

Sims is currently seeking a full-time Belt Picker to join our team at our Broadmeadows yard.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that plays an important part in our recycling operations.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be working along a conveyor belt, sorting recyclable materials. It’s repetitive, physical work – perfect for someone who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty and thrives in a busy environment.

In this role, you’ll also help keep the yard clean, assist with general labouring duties, and adhok duties to support our processing operations.

What we’re looking for:
We’re after a reliable, motivated individual who’s ready to roll up their sleeves. While experience in recycling or conveyor work is a bonus, it’s not essential – we’re happy to train the right person.

You’ll succeed in this role if you:
Are physically fit and enjoy hands-on work
Have a good eye for detail and can stay focused
Work well independently and as part of a team
Understand basic safety practices (or are willing to learn)
Can pass a drug and alcohol test
Bonus points for:
Experience in recycling, warehousing, or a similar industry
Familiarity with conveyor belt operations
