Proposal Engineer

A) Job Description:
• Analyze customer requirements, tender documents, and technical specifications.
• Design water treatment systems (such as RO, UF, ETP, STP, etc.) to meet the client's needs.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals, including design calculations, equipment selection, and system layout.
• Estimate project costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.
• Develop commercial proposals that include pricing, payment terms, and project timelines.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary information for proposal preparation.
• Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements.
• Present technical proposals to clients, highlighting key features and benefits of the proposed solutions.
• Ensure all proposals comply with industry standards, company policies, and client specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of all proposals, including technical and commercial documents.
• Update proposal templates and databases with relevant information and improvements.
• Market Research and Competitiveness:
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements.
• Continuously refine proposal strategies to improve competitiveness in the market.

B) Technical skills Required:
• RO/UF Software knowledge – Preferred
• PPT / Excel Sheet working
• E-tender/Govt. portal for tendering - Preferred
• Vendor Negotiation / Data bank working

C) Behavioral Skills Required:
• Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines of bid submission/ Tender bidding
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
