Senior Technical Writer

The Punchh Developer Portal is the primary educational and support resource for partners and vendors to build meaningful and impactful integrations to Punchh for retail commerce. The integration APIs address a wide range of client applications that include online ordering, mobile app commerce, point of sale, payments, and more.

As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and improving the API documentation, information architecture, and supplemental resources about integrating Punchh with third-party point-of-sale and other in-store technologies that our clients and partners use when building and certifying integrations with Punchh. You will be joining a full-stack engineering and cross-functional team, and collaborate with experienced Product Managers and Developer Relations Engineers on the Punchh Developer Portal and Developer Community. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technical writer who is interested in creating documentation that will truly make a difference to external and internal teams.

• Create and maintain installation, configuration, user, and troubleshooting guides for various point-of-sale devices that integrate with the Punchh platform
• Become an expert on our APIs used to integrate Punchh with point-of-sale and other in-store technologies to:
• Create conceptual, how-to, and reference topics for Punchh APIs and certification programs
• Develop sample code and tutorials to train partner developers
• Improve information architecture and communication of API/certification workflow and timelines on the Punchh Developer Portal
• Suggest creative ways to evangelize and gather feedback on the Developer Portal across external and internal Punchh teams
• Work closely with Developer Relations Engineers and third-party certification team members to identify and close documentation gaps
