We work closely with both the industry and the government with the objective to bring in supply chain visibility through the adoption of global standards and best practices.

A few of the major standards-based projects executed by GS1 India include the use of Fastag for electronic toll collection; Wagon tracking by Indian Railways, Traceability of Liquor by Delhi Excise, Unique Hospital identification registry – ROHINI, and many others. In order to help the industry and government, GS1 India has rolled out services in areas of product master data management, and traceability systems to help in the various digital transformation initiatives.

Job Description

Role: Senior Content Writer

Functional Area: Communications /Marketing/Advertising/PR

Responsibilities:

§ Create well researched compelling content for Blogs, Articles, Social Media posts, White papers, and others

§ Research industry-related topics to develop original content

§ Editing and polishing existing content, proofreading for errors and inconsistencies

§ Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, videos, blogs, etc.

§ Create strategic content marketing plans to support the usage of standards and promotion of various services.

Skills Required

· 7-10 years of industry experience in Content creation in the Corporate Communication department of a reputed organization

· A strong record in creating immaculate documentation that stands out from the crowd

· Excellent communication and English language grammar skills

· Ability to take direction and work independently, as well as part of a team

· Keen attention to detail and adherence to timelines

· Familiarity with creative processes and techniques

· Bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing, journalism, or related field

· Basic knowledge of digital marketing channels like Google ads etc
