Excellent opportunity for a Commercial Plumber to join a well-established construction company based in Swindon

The Company

We are a family-run Fit Out, Joinery, and M&E company with over 50 years of experience, delivering high-quality projects for prestigious clients such as Harrods, Qatar Airways, BA, and Wagamama. We specialise in UK airport fit outs, including Heathrow.

We’re looking for a qualified, experienced Commercial Plumber to join our growing team. You'll be working on high-spec commercial projects across the south of England, including schools, offices, and airports – often in live environments where quality and professionalism are key.

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Installing plumbing and heating systems (copper, steel, plastic) on commercial sites
• Maintenance and repair work, including diagnostics and fault-finding
• Working from technical drawings and collaborating with engineers and site teams
• Following all relevant safety and building regulations
• Completing job sheets and compliance documentation
• Representing the company professionally on every job

What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified plumber with experience on commercial sites
• Comfortable with occasional night shifts (especially at airports)
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to pass DBS and airside security checks (no criminal record)
• A team player with a proactive, professional attitude

Trainee Plumber - Salisbury

Salary up to £30,000 + Excellent Benefits & Full Training Program

This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills within a dynamic commercial setting. You will work alongside experienced professionals who will mentor and guide you through various plumbing tasks, leading to a rewarding career.

What you'll be doing (with full training and supervision):
• Assisting experienced plumbers with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial plumbing systems.
• Learning to identify and rectify minor plumbing issues, such as leaks, blockages, and faulty components.
• Helping with the installation, repair, and maintenance of hot and cold water systems, drainage, and sanitaryware.
• Understanding and applying health and safety procedures in a commercial environment.
• Supporting the team with general upkeep and organization of tools and equipment.
• Learning to complete basic paperwork and reports accurately.
• Observing and participating in various plumbing tasks to build your practical skills.

What we're looking for:
• A genuine interest in plumbing and a desire to learn a trade.
• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to take instruction.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Basic understanding of tools and practical tasks is a plus, but not essential.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable, but not essential for this static role.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
