Apartment Maintenance Technician | Hollywood Hills Apts.

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Various Properties)

Compensation: $25/hour + $50 Monthly Phone Use Stipend + Paid Travel Time between sites

Status: Full-Time (30–40 hours per week)

We manage a portfolio of residential properties built between 1919 and 1986. From vintage charm to mid-century modern aesthetics, our buildings have charm and character. We are looking for a maintenance technician who doesn't just "fix" things, but someone who takes pride in the quality of their work, ensuring our properties remain beautiful and functional for our residents.

Painting

High-quality interior/exterior touch-ups and full room repaints. We expect clean lines, proper masking, and a professional finish without drips or "holidays."

Mechanical

Installation and repair of window blinds, exhaust/vent fans, door hardware, and closet tracks. Ensuring everything moves smoothly and stays on track.

Appliances

Basic troubleshooting and repair of stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, and garbage disposals. Swapping out units when necessary.

Concrete & Stucco

Patching cracks in walkways and repairing exterior stucco to match existing textures (sand, dash, or knockdown).

Carpentry

Repairing kitchen cabinets, adjusting settled doors, and installing trim/baseboards to match the building's era.

Tile & Grout

Competent repair and regrouting of bathroom and kitchen tiles. We value clean, level lines that blend with the original installation.

Plumbing & Elec.

General repairs, clearing drains, and safely replacing light fixtures/switches in both vintage and modern environments.

Requirements

Experience: 2+ years in residential maintenance or a related trade.

The "Detail" Eye: You care about the finished product. You notice when a cabinet door is crooked or a piece of trim is loose, and you take the initiative to fix it.

Versatility: Comfortable working on a 1920s bungalow one day and a 1970s apartment complex the next.

Tools: Must own a basic set of hand and power tools (drill, saws, etc.).

Mobility: Valid CA Driver’s License and reliable vehicle. We pay for your time spent traveling between our properties.
