Position: Nursing Manager

Salary: $75,000-$90,000

Duties & Responsibilities:
As an Nursing Manager, you will:

Assist the DON and ADON in evaluating and directing daily nursing operations in compliance with current regulations.
Ensure nursing staff adheres to job descriptions and facility policies.
Handle complaints and grievances, escalating reports to the Director of Nursing Services as necessary.
Utilize leadership skills to manage the assigned unit effectively.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing for 24/7 nursing care while minimizing overtime and agency usage.
Implement progressive counseling and recommend disciplinary actions as needed.
Provide professional guidance and supervision to unit staff.
Attend committee meetings and participate in quality assurance activities.
Teach and evaluate nursing skills, ensuring high standards of resident care.
Oversee the completion of MDS on the unit.
Develop and implement discharge plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
Manage budgets, prepare reports, and participate in staff recruitment.
Promote a caring atmosphere, respecting residents' needs and rights.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid New Jersey RN/LPN License.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
