Warehouse Supervisor – Grain Facility

Southsask Quality Processors is currently accepting applications for a full time Experienced Warehouse Supervisor.

Join a dynamic grain processing and shipping facility dedicated to quality, safety, and efficiency. We specialize in packaging and shipping grain products in various formats, adhering to strict food safety and operational protocols.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and helping with the handling, storage, and shipment of grain products packaged in 50 lb, 100 lb, 25 kg, 50 kg bags, and 2000 lb, 1-tonne totes. Shipments are loaded into 20 and 40 foot containers as well as 53 ft trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and help with all warehouse operations, including receiving, bagging, storing, staging, and shipping of product

Ensure accurate loading of bagged and tote product into containers and trailers

Follow and enforce HACCP protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and support overall facility cleanliness

Train and lead warehouse staff, ensuring safety, productivity, and compliance

Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies or issues promptly

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed (certification an asset)

Collaborate with plant operations, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflows

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in a grain, feed, or food-related environment

Familiarity with HACCP and food safety regulations

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically active environment

Experience handling and shipping both bagged and tote bulk products

Forklift certification preferred
