Visa Status: Authorized to work in USA Title: Engine Test Engineer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Development Test Engineer will lead engine test execution as a test engineer, focusing on both structural and non-

structural engine tests to validate new engine designs. This role is crucial for the team, which is engaged in key projects

aimed at enhancing engine performance and durability. The position requires collaboration with a broad range of teams

within the organization to ensure successful test execution and results analysis

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

3 to 5 years of engineering experience (including internships and hands-on work).
Collect test requirements and gauge maps during the pretest phase
Collaborate with the lab team on test execution and data acquisition using systems like eDAQ, LMS
Perform test data analysis, structure tests, and modal testing for engine systems and components
Assess vibration severity, analyse weld/bolted joint and parent material fatigue
Execute non-structural tests including engine system performance analysis (temperature, pressure, flow, vibration,
wear/endurance)

Communicate test results and recommendations to internal customers such as design engineers and engine system
validation leads

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
SKILL REQUIRED TO SUCCEED IN THIS JOB

Engine test experience is mandatory.

Proficient in engine knowledge, structure/fatigue knowledge including vibration/durability.
Experienced in test instrumentation and data processing.
Familiarity with internal combustion engines and dynamics/vibration development/testing/analysis.
