Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for Engineering Manager candidates who will provide project engineering to include track, schedule and coordinate all contract upgrades, modifications, or changes to any of the support equipment
Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions

PRIMARY DUTIES:

All candidates will perform the following duties:
• Collaborate with the Senior Engineers to create more efficient methods.
• Develop the specifications for all equipment that is required for each project.
• Create the framework used to develop and monitor project metrics and manage the

collection of project data.
• Formulate realistic parameters for each project, including design elements and

implementation procedures.
• Establish the methods by which all field tests are administered and develop various ways to

monitor the quality of those tests.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

All candidates will have the following minimum skills:
• Four (4) years of recent specialized experience in engineering and project planning.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Experience with field management considered a plus.
• Experience with satellite communication systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork.
• Work well independently or as a member of a team environment
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, OR Associate’s degree plus seven (7) years of recent specialized experience, OR eleven (11) years of recent specialized experience.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
