Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to join our team at Northrop Grumman. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in facilities management and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all infrastructure, preventive maintenance, and projects for our facilities in Rancho Benardo/San Diego
Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
Supervise employees who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and infrastructure and equipment via various trades
Collaborate with site Leadership, Program office representatives, Corporate Real Estate, and functional organizations
Sets priorities, performs forecasting, and allocates resources needed to complete all facilities projects and maintenance tasks
Administers or coordinates with personnel who administer maintenance and repair contracts and purchase materials/resources
Provides status on maintenance and project metrics performance to leadership
Represents Facilities organization in site and program functional coordination meetings
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of leadership experience working in an operations or facilities management capacity or 5 years with a Masters Degree or 10 years' experience without degree
Familiar with establishing and tracking performance metrics
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Familiar with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Experience managing teams and achieving organizational objectives
Aerospace industry experience
Familiarity working with and briefing senior level management
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and solve complex problems
Experience working in a mission critical facility environment
Must be able to obtain and maintain government security clearance
