Job Summary:
Peer Consulting Resources Inc. is seeking a results-driven Engineering Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top engineering talent across various domains. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for engineering roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified engineering candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies specific to engineering disciplines.
• Conduct initial phone screenings and assess candidates' technical qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interview processes and provide feedback to both candidates and hiring managers.
• Negotiate job offers, salary expectations, and employment terms with selected candidates.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of recruitment activities and candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in engineering recruitment to improve hiring processes.
• Foster strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in engineering recruitment, staffing, or talent acquisition.
• Proven experience in sourcing and hiring for roles in mechanical, civil, electrical, structural, or other engineering domains.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes, candidate assessment techniques, and employment laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence candidates and hiring managers.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other sourcing tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple job openings efficiently.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a staffing agency or consulting environment.
• Familiarity with recruitment tools and HR software.
• Knowledge of diversity and inclusion hiring practices.
