Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an Engineering Technician for our client in Burlington, MA. This is an opportunity to work with an ophthalmic medical technology and pharmaceutical company..

Location: Burlington, MA

Salary: $26.06 - $33.85 per hour

Job Type: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, flexible scheduling

What You’ll Do:
• Support engineering in design, development, testing, and documentation of new and existing products.
• Build electro-mechanical test fixtures and assembly aides for manufacturing.
• Assist in sustaining activities, including lifecycle management, reliability improvements, and cost reductions.
• Perform PCB and system-level testing while procuring materials for engineering needs.
• Maintain the engineering lab and ensure proper installation and upkeep of lab equipment.
What We’re Looking For:
• Technical Institute Graduate or Associate’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or biotech engineering preferred;
• 5+ years of experience in engineering support, specializing in prototyping, test fixture design, and documentation.
• Expertise in electromechanical hardware, schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, soldering (SMT/Thru-hole), cable assemblies, and basic machining.
• Skilled in diagnosing systems/assemblies, creating and maintaining BOMs, and developing mechanical/electrical documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with SolidWorks, OrCAD, Arena PLM, Altium, and optics handling is a plus.
• Soldering certification is a plus.
