About the Role
ACG Parnell College is a leading co-educational independent school based in Auckland, offering world-class education to students from Year 0-13. We require an enthusiastic and capable secondary English teacher who can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to students' individual needs.
The successful applicant will have strength in teaching English, be well-organised, enjoy working as part of a supportive team, and be willing to contribute to the life of our school. This full-time role involves teaching English, developing excellent relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, and ensuring the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Teach English, creating an engaging learning environment.
Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.
Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.
Participate in wider school activities.
Ensure students' welfare and safety in every moment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
Experience in teaching English in a secondary school curriculum to a high standard.
Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.
Flexible, committed, professional, hard-working, team player.
