**Job Overview**
As a member of our Database Administration team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our enterprise environment.
Our team is responsible for supporting and maintaining a range of databases, including PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL and Oracle Database.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, test and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance.
Evaluate and recommend database upgrades and technology enhancements as required.
Provide expert support to application teams for database-related incidents.
Develop and implement monitoring and health reports to reduce and eliminate issues affecting end users.
Work collaboratively with the team to resolve issues and contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical system documentation.
Adhere to ITIL frameworks for change, incident and problem management.
**Requirements**
Substantial experience with database technologies, including PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL and Oracle Database.
Expertise in high availability and disaster recovery scenarios.
Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
