Enterprise Linux Infrastructure Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to oversee the management of our company's computer infrastructure and lead our IT department at Restroworks. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in IT administration, a strong understanding of network systems and hardware, as well as the ability to optimize IT system efficiency across our organization.
• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers to ensure seamless operation.
• Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet business objectives.
• Implementing robust security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
• Managing user accounts and access control to maintain data security.
• Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
• Documenting processes, backing up and archiving data to ensure business continuity.
• Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures to minimize downtime.
• Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
• Leading and mentoring IT department employees, providing technical support and guidance.
• Staying up-to-date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
• *Requirements:**
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant professional certification (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco).
• At least two years' experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in handling Windows, IOS, and Linux/Unix Servers with shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• *Compensation:** We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience, to attract and retain top talent in the industry. This estimate is based on industry standards for IT professionals with similar experience and qualifications.
