Job Description
\
The Director of Enterprise Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand transactional and managed transportation business through new customer acquisition and relationship management.
\
This role requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in outside sales and business development within freight brokerage and managed transportation.
\
Key responsibilities include capturing and communicating the unique value proposition to customers, leveraging pricing analysts and operations teams to create business solutions.
\
The successful candidate will engage with customers post-sale via regular account reviews and quarterly meetings to prove ROI and create new value.
\
\
Required Skills and Qualifications
\
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in outside sales/business development within freight brokerage and managed transportation.
\
A proven track record in cold-calling, closing sales, and building long-lasting customer relationships is essential.
\
Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to balance customer needs with margin integrity, are required.
\
Advanced financial knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary for success in this role.
\
\
Preferred Qualifications
\
Experience in temperature-controlled transportation (produce, refrigerated, ambient food products) is a plus.
\
Familiarity with freight management software is also desirable.
