Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Agora Edge, a leading manufacturer of soft goods. This role will primarily focus on assisting in basic industrial functions, utilizing software tools, leveraging robotics knowledge, and providing support to the Quality Manager in maintaining quality standards across the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:
• Process Optimization: Assist in analyzing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and quality. Propose and implement solutions to optimize production workflows. Background in time studies is a requirement.
• Software Utilization: Utilize software tools for data analysis, process monitoring, and workflow optimization. Familiarity with software platforms such as CAD/CAM, ERP systems, and data analytics tools is preferred.
• Testing and Quality Support: Assist in conducting testing and inspections on materials, components, and finished products using specialized equipment. Prepare and maintain documentation related to testing procedures, results, and quality control records. Support the Quality Manager in implementing corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing waste, and increasing efficiency in the manufacturing process. Engage in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address production challenges.
• Training and Documentation: Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes, equipment, or software tools. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth execution of manufacturing processes and successful implementation of improvement projects. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve issues.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Exposure to basic industrial functions, including process optimization, manufacturing principles, and quality management.
• Proficiency in software tools commonly used in manufacturing environments, such as Excel, CAD/CAM software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Prior internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
