Job description
Environmental, Health and Safety consultant required by a multinational and multidisciplinary environmental, health and safety consultancy that supports clients through their acquiring and management of international property portfolios.
We are welcoming applications from those with predominantly Environmental backgrounds who have additional health and safety knowledge.
Assigned to several client accounts, you will provide Environment services and support through managing projects and initiatives across corporate property portfolios within banking, law, power and other sectors.
You will have an excellent working knowledge of ISO:14001 including experience of writing management systems and be responsible for to the ongoing development and delivery of an excellent service to blue-chip clients, meeting the needs of the modern office environment with best practice risk management, embracing changing technologies and working practices.
Key Responsibilities And Requirements.
Deliver Environmental, Health and Safety consulting projects, ensuring high standards throughout.
Enhance products and processes for continual improvement.
Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Partner with clients to understand their Health, Safety, and Environmental needs.
Communicate value propositions through proposals and presentations.
Development and Implementation of Environmental Management Systems to ISO 14001
Required Skills
Hold or be working towards PIEMA membership.
Experience of writing Environmental Management Systems, policies and procedures.
EHS Auditor Qualifications, Ideally Lead Auditor Status I.e. 14001
Demonstrable experience in EHS services or consultancy.
Competence in balancing commercial targets with client needs.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
4-5 years’ experience working within a large multi-site facilities organisation/role.
Experience of a corporate office environment ideal.
The role can be home based. You will need to live within reasonable access to London and expect site visits c2-3 times per week.
