Job Details

We are seeking a talented Environmental Law Attorney to join our highly regarded team.

You will be a key player in our Environmental Practice, focusing on environmental law, environmental litigation, and environmental regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
• Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of environmental matters, including permitting, compliance, enforcement, and transactional issues related to federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
• Represent the organization in environmental litigation cases, including the preparation of legal documents, conducting discovery, and representing the organization in court.
• Work closely with various business units to ensure the organization's compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on environmental laws and regulations to ensure the organization's operations are in compliance.
• Develop and implement strategies to manage and minimize the organization's environmental risks.
• Negotiate and draft legal documents related to environmental issues, such as permits, agreements, and contracts.
• Provide training to the organization's employees on environmental laws and regulations.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Ideally a minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental law, environmental litigation, and/or environmental regulatory compliance.
• Admission to the PA state bar.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
• Proven experience in representing organizations in environmental litigation cases.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
