Job Overview
Join WorkStaff USA, a premier staffing agency in the job placement sector, as we seek a Senior Environmental Pipeline Project Manager who will work 100% remotely within the USA. This role is critical in providing essential environmental services and strategies for midstream pipeline initiatives, including natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil projects. Candidates must demonstrate experience with FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee a range of projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
• Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, ensuring adherence to FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS guidelines.
• Engage with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
• Facilitate communication with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings.
• Manage project parameters such as scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting.
• Participate in business development activities and represent the company at industry conferences.
• Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to ensure project integrity.
Required Skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental standards.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to operate independently as a proactive self-starter.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting for pipeline projects.
• Professional certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
