Job Summary
We are seeking expressions of interest from Registered Nurses who wish to participate in the RNAA Bridging Programme. This six-month programme will equip you with the necessary skills to become a Registered Nurse Assistant to the Anaesthetist.
Role Description
The programme offers an opportunity to earn while learning and gain valuable experience within Perioperative Services. Upon successful completion, you will be employed as a RNAA under the Anaesthetic Technician Clinical Leadership in collaboration with Perioperative Nursing Clinical Leadership.
Eligibility Criteria
You must be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
A minimum of 12 months of continuous clinical anaesthetic experience in a role aligned to the Anaesthetic Technician scope of practice within the last five years
Be able to complete the programme at a minimum of 0.8 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) with a view to increasing to 0.8-1.0 FTE upon successful completion
A strong interest in working within the anaesthetic technician scope and furthering your experience
Be open to learning and playing an active role in our team
