Having in-house graphic design, tool and die, digital printing, and high-speed embossing allows us to respond quickly to our customer needs. Our warehousing and distribution services enable us to provide multiple delivery options including mailing plates, registration forms and decals directly to our customers.

Responsibilities

Machine Operation: Ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment in completion of work orders in priority. Monitor indicator lights, all process variates and functioning of plate feeder, heat sealer, and shrink wrap oven. Respond effectively to all malfunctions, misfeeds, and jams. Completion of basic maintenance / upkeep of equipment.
Ability to receive production orders and set up machine to run project according to instructions.
Ability to use careful observation to check each produced plate against the sample plate (gold standard), care to spot any mistakes or inconsistencies and adjusting accordingly.
Understanding when and how to use emergency shutoffs when needed.
Quality Checking: Complete final inspection of all work done to plate to ensure it meets established quality standards, customer specifications, and defect/alerts. Includes: confirming appropriate colours, embossing, sheeting, integrity of paint and material, correct alpha-numeric sequence, etc. Good understanding of all customer packaging instructions.
Safety: Fulfill duties in a safe, responsible manner in keeping with plant safety guidelines, safe work practices, and applicable regulations. Wear required PPE and ensure it is appropriate to job at hand. Keep work surfaces and floor area tidy and free of hazards.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate paperwork for orders as they progress.
Ability to effectively react to change and undertake other tasks as assigned.
